It is the goal of Word of Life International Church to provide a safe and secure environment in which minor children may learn about Jesus. To facilitate this goal all Children's Workers (those directly responsible for the care of minor children) must have fulfilled the following requirements before being "Certified" and allowed to work with our children.

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old

Volunteer Application with Reference Checks

Completion of the “Safe Church” Training Seminar

(with required annual updates)

Acknowledgment of adherence to the Church “Safe Church” Policy.

Criminal History/Sexual Abuse Background Check with Maryland State Police

Annual Recertification

Safe Church Training Group on 2/28/04

The Children of Word of Life International Church have the Right to:

1. Learn that Jesus loves them

2. A loving and safe learning environment

3. Dedicated and caring workers

4. Have fun

5. Not be afraid to ask questions

6. Have someone to confide in

7. Support and understanding

8. Not being condemned for their differences

9. To be treated with respect regardless of their age

10. To be challlenged mentally, physically and emotionally
